mediaDROID-50 player - Dual ARM® 1.6Ghz Cortex™ A9 1GB memory

The mediaDROID-50 is an inexpensive player designed to deliver dynamic animated content, including good quality videos encoded at 360p - 480p. It is powered by the full version of our SignagePlayer app, so you get all the same set of features in a low powered, plug-N-play, stateless, Android based device. The device is about the size of a matchbox which  makes it ideal for small space installations. It ships with a special baked Android operating system, that was developed by MediaSignage to deliver a none interrupted continues playback of your campaigns. Simply plug the enclosed HDMI port onto a screen and use the built in WIFI module to connect to your local wireless router (or via an external Ethernet dongle -  sold separately). The device can be powered using a screen’s USB port, therefore an external power supply is not required. The mediaDROID-50 can cache up to 4GB of campaign resources on its internal Flash memory, so it can operate even when the connection to the internet is lost with no interruption to your audience.

Choose the mediaDROID-50h which will drive any screen in an Horizontal / Landscape mode or from mediaDROID-50v which will drive any screen in Vertical / Portrait mode; both are compatible with any HDMI screen.

mediaDROID-100 player - Quad ARM® 1.7Ghz Cortex™ A9 1GB memory

The mediaDROID-100 delivers stunning graphics and HD video content with its powerful ultra compact 1.7GHz quad core  processor. The Samsung Exynos4412 CPU is the same processor used in the most powerful Android tablets; and now you can enjoy the latest in high tech processing right on your signage displays. The mediaDROID-100 has 2GB of operating memory.

It also has a special Micro MMC 8GB chip for storage capacity to cache campaign’s files, just incase internet connection is disrupted; the MMC chip is about 100x times faster than conventional Micro SIMMs. A large metal heat sink ensures the device runs cool and the entire unit measures at only 60x60x60mm, about 1/2 the height of a pencil.

This high end Android based device can deliver smooth 1080P video content and ships pre loaded with the full version of our SignagePlayer Android app, so you get all the same set of features in a low cost, low powered, plug-N-play, stateless computer. USB operating system restore drive for mediaBOX

The USB restore drive will allow you to restore a complete Windows XPe  or Ubuntu Linux back to the original configuration.  The USB is a bootable device that is loaded with a special software that allows you to choose which OS to restore. The complete restore process takes about 60 seconds. This system can also be used to upgrade to our latest OS release build. Simply download the latest OS software build onto the USB drive and apply it to your mediaBOX media player.
