Wired.com just posted an article on a new type of gestural digital signage at CES 2009. The conceptual product utilizes motion sensoring to allow for audience control of the screen's content.

With simple motion sensing technology and a software interface, Toshiba hopes to open up applications for video games and other interactive media.
One thing that was most definitely left out was this type of technology's possible use in digital signage applications. Gestural, motion sensored, and touch screen sign applications will one day rule the roost in the out-of-home space, putting control back where it belongs: in the hands of the consumer.
