Apple has announced they'll be having more support for dual display on their newest version of the Mac Mini. The Mac Mini is currently being used by Helius, EasyShadow and Nanonation as a digital signage player.

There have been many rumors circulating on the web regarding the demise of the Mac Mini. This may not be prudent for Apple, given the fact that several digital sign companies currently deploy thousands of display players every year.

An additional benefit of utilizing the Mini's new platform will be in the application of video wall solutions. The dual monitor support will allow for more functionality and greater control within one unit without having to use another switch device.
