Norwegian bookstore chain Libris has rolled out a digital signage network with the help of Scala Certified Partner Capella Media. To date, Capella Media has installed 46" Samsung screens in 85 Libris stores and plans to install signs in another 40 stores by summer 2010.
Adding digital signage is part of Libris' store design upgrade initiative, which supports its commitment to providing an excellent customer experience. Libris hopes the high-impact digital displays will give the stores a more upscale image and clearly communicate in-store promotions and other information to shoppers while they are most receptive. Libris will run engaging corporate branding ads, publisher-specific promotions and book club information on one main channel while customers are standing in line and browsing the isles.
