Apprentice Winner Lee McQueen Secures Digital Signage Deal
The Apprentice winner Lee McQueen has secured his first major contract for Sir Alan Sugar.
The boards, made by Sir Alan's Amscreen company, will initially show traffic information and adverts to motorists at the 335 BP-owned sites around the UK with a view to extending the deal to BP's 800 dealer partners by the end of the year.
Sir Alan said: "Lee has been working very hard for the past year and has progressed well, having played a key role in these negotiations.
"He has proved that I made the right decision by choosing him as the Apprentice, although you can rest assured I won't be letting him rest on his laurels - he still has a lot to learn as we continue the work of establishing Amscreen as a major player in the digital signage market."
Lee led negotiations on the five-year deal with Simon Sugar, Sir Alan's son and the chief executive of Amscreen.
